Fabuloso has been with his mare Lebrera for 3 days. Up till this moment the mare has not allowed the stallion to get close to their foal. This is the first time the mare allowed the foal to approach his father, and the stallion is very careful.

My Paso Fino mare, Pintura, has just given birth to her firstborn foal. This video was taken just after he slid almost all the way out of her. If you look carefully you can see that his hind feet are still inside her. He is sopping wet from amniotic fluid and his umbilical cord is still attached to the placenta. Staff at World Horse Welfare are celebrating after the birth of their very first 'World Horse Welfare' foal.
Born on Monday 12th May, 11 days after the charity renamed from the ILPH, the tiny bay colt foal will be the very first foal to take the new World Horse Welfare pre-fix and he is a born fighter.
